Fancy Five inspired by: Baby toys!

With the exception of his swings, Anakin does not have battery operated toys. It really scares me how reliant we are on technology and I wish we lived in a simpler time. So, a lot of Anakin's stuff is vintage or vintage inspired. He has a growing collection of wooden toys. My hope is that they well teach me him use his imagination and entertain himself. Batteries run out and then you have to buy more, or A your baby won't be able to properly enjoy the toy. Also, plastic is kind of gross (BPA) and can look cheap.
Melissa and Doug has great wooden toys. I've seen them Target, Kohl's and Stein Mart.
There's a store in Henderson called Lakeshore that has a lot of educational toys and books. On Saturdays they have free arts and crafts! Anakin isn't old enough for that and would probably eat the glue, but when he is I want to take him there because it looks like a lot of fun.
Here are five places you can buy wood, vintage, and vintage inspired toys!
1. Natural Pod
2. Hazelnut Kids
3. Child Trek
4. US Wood Toys
5. The Vermont Country Store (not everything is wooden, some things are even plastic. But it's all classic!)

My favorite thing Anakin has is his collection of Golden Books. Do you remember reading these when you were little?
