Heidi Silmane has taken over the House formally known as Yves Saint Laurent. When I first heard the name change rumor, I thought it was a joke. Guess not. If something is considered a classic, does it really need to be revamped into something fresh and new?
That's my favorite thing about Chanel, no matter who the creative director is, it's always Chanel. Not to get off topic. You can always tell that Coco Chanel's vision is an inspiration to the collections. Silmane has designed for YSL previously, so I hope he treats YSL with the dignity and respect it deserves.
